FBI Raids ‘Electronik Tribulation Army’ Over Witness Intimidation

FBI agents have raided the homes of three alleged members of a hacker gang that harassed a security expert who helped put the group’s leader in jail, according to a recently unsealed search warrant affidavit.

Jesse William McGraw, aka “GhostExodus,” pleaded guilty in May to computer-tampering charges for putting malware on a dozen machines at the Texas hospital where he worked as a security guard. He also installed the remote-access program LogMeIn on the hospital’s Windows-controlled HVAC system.

  1. well, there were no threads made against him by eta members, thats a fabrication or an exaggeration at the very least, No such "threatening phone calls or emails" have been submitted as evidence nor even cited in any of the affidavits, this information is innaccurate. I just made a website mocking the dude, and so far as I know, I have rights that shouldnt be trampled upon. Gee, I wish I could call the FBI and complain everytime someone reposts the contents of this article, I dont like it, hey, I might call them, think theyll raid you for posting this?

    heh I doubt it.

  3. Well I cant. Actually, a few days before they raided me, the domain, www.wesleymcgrew.com was suspended for terms of service violations, which I havent invesitgated why, but I can assume Mcgrew had something to do with it, filing a complaint, or asking a buddy to pull it ect.

Actually, as an act of defiance, I aimed electroniktribulationarmy.com at it to show I wasnt taking it down. The "webserver" was taken by the FBI, along with every hard disk I own and a few other things, needless to say, its not an available website any longer.

Personally, I think it was a either a misunderstanding IE, they thought ghost was orchestrating this from prison, or they wanted to send a message, I dont know.

But the website being put up has nothing to do with mcgraw getting busted it was not retaliation for that as the FBI and the websites writing these articles claim, putting the website up was an expression of my personal opinion of Mcgrew, yeah mailing him a dildo was over the top, and posting his information, but, his info is public domain since he allready put it out there. Which is why I didnt mind posting it.

Trust me, if I thought an FBI raid was coming I wouldnt have put the site up. And like I said, ive never threatened the dude, He teaches forensics at the NFTC for the FBI ect, so im sure he picked up the phone with a smile and a giggle and requested it.
